About Donna
Hi, I’m Donna McLoughlin. I teach down-to-earth yoga in Bath. My sessions blend movement, breath and deep rest. We start gently, build into what you have capacity for that day, and finish with time to properly switch off. I also teach hen party yoga in Bath and across the South West. Fun, feel-good sessions that leave your group happy, energised and ready for the rest of the day.
I’m a former corporate PR, now yoga teacher. I understand busy minds, full diaries and the feeling of being glued to a to do list. Yoga helped me step out of that pattern. I started asking different questions about how I wanted to live and work, and over time yoga became the thing I most wanted to share.
I’m down-to-earth and quietly warm. I love walking in the countryside, being with friends and family, and a proper Sunday roast. I’m also an introvert, so I understand the need for space, not pressure. My aim is to make yoga feel welcoming and doable, whether you’re brand new, coming back after a break, or you’ve practised for years.
How I teach
Options always. You do not need to be flexible or “good at yoga”. Expect clear guidance and permission to make it smaller when you need to.
My classes, events and my yoga retreats near Bath, blend movement, breath and deep rest. Sometimes that looks like a stronger flow, sometimes it is slower and more grounding, and most weeks it is a bit of both. I’ll guide you clearly, offer choices throughout, and you can make it simpler or more spacious at any point. You do not need to “perform” yoga. You just need to show up as you are.
People often come to me when life feels full, or when they want something that helps them switch off without having to do it perfectly. If you’re busy, overwhelmed, or carrying a lot, you’ll be in the right place. If you’re feeling good and want to keep building strength, mobility and resilience, that fits too.

I love teaching yoga, and I’m always learning. I’ve trained extensively and I love to keep studying, but my biggest learnings come from teaching, watching and listening to my students.
I teach Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra, plus yoga for sports and pre and postnatal. I’ve taught in retreat settings in Ibiza, Morocco and the Alps. I also work with corporate and private clients. In Bath, you’ll find me teaching at Yoga Bodhi Studio and hosting retreat days at Well Bath, alongside workshops throughout the year.
