WHAT STYLES OF YOGA DO YOU TEACH?
Vinyasa Flow Yoga – Flow for All / Intermediate Flow
The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” In our vinyasa (flow) yoga classes, we will coordinate each movement with breath. Flowing from one pose to the next. Flow yoga is an umbrella term for many of the more popular and well known yoga styles – Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga and more – all these Yoga styles link movement to breath.
Yin Yoga
These classes consist of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body — the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues and yin yoga works to unstick the connective tissues that can get very stuck due to lifestyle, injury or stress.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra can be translated to mean ‘yogic sleep’ – it is the state of dynamic sleep. In this meditation practice we learn to relax consciously. It’s a systematic method used to create deep and complete relaxation physically, mentally & spiritually.
